Biodate

Liliana Rebelo is a biotechnologist who is part of a team of university research. Now she works in Medical School in Italy, doing research in the area of Regenerative Medicine. She graduated in Escola Superior Agrária de Coimbra, Portugal in Biotechnology (2006).and she have made her traineeship in Bluepharma. After the graduation, she has decided makes a two master’s degree, one in Criminology and another in Pharmaceutical Biotechnology in the University the Coimbra in 2007 and 2009, respectively. She participated in several lectures and workshops for year, this way she tries to develop and improve her skills.

She has published three scientific articles in international medical magazines. Liliana have published the following articles: “Inhibitory effects of actinomycin D and on neuronal death”; Influence of autophagy genes on ion-channel-dependent neuronal degeneration” and “Stem cells to regenerate skin in burn patients”. She really enjoys what he does.

On the other hand, she really likes to travel and experience new cultures and cuisines. Besides biotechnology, his great passion is music, their free time is spent listening to music and compose new lyrics. Another of his hobbies is reading, and she like all types of books.

In the background is a person very dedicated to his work and who actually believes in science and in its evolution, trying to contribute to this ongoing evolution.
